Gratitude Journal

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
-Melody Beattie

A while back my mom showed me a journal she was keeping, for me it was a tender moment. Looking at her handwriting and hearing her soft voice as she explained to me the purpose of the journal; that moment is a treasured memory dear to me: I was looking at her gratitude journal.

Keeping a gratitude journal is a healthy way to focus on the positive events, and people that come into our lives on a daily basis. We are shielded in a positive energy field when you’re thinking of good things to be grateful for, there is no room for anything else.

My gratitude journal helps me appreciate the small pleasures in life, and to appreciate the things I do have, instead of the things I don’t.

I get the most of my gratitude journal by adding drawings, doodles, photos, quotes and clippings.

Come, finish this line let me know what your grateful for.
