Our cats have such personalities… I’d have to walk with a camera strapped to me 24/7 to catch their unexpected antics.
I walk away from my studies for a minute and return only to find Dottie wants me to read out loud to her.
While all of them are special, Mittens is the one that holds the glue for all of them. He’s a curious kitty, he loves checking things out and exploring, he loves heights and loves car rides. He gets along with all the other cats in this pride, it’s as if they know he has a gentle kindness about him. He exemplifies as the French would say: joie d’être (joy of being).
Meesho (the tabby) and Little Bear (the black kitty) are like oil and vinegar… they taste good together but just don’t mix well. Where ever Meesho is, you can be sure that the black shadow (Little Bear) is not far away. Meesho is always hissing at Little Bear… and Little Bear is always stalking Meesho, it goes on all day.
I make sure to give Miss Helen her fair share of attention. She will hover around the bathroom long enough to get ones attention that she wishes to be groomed. As you can see she’s working on her “Upward Cat” on the yoga mat… she’s a Diva alright.
Liberty is every bit of what one would expect from a ‘little boy’, he loves bringing in lizards, and he loves snacks. Mostly he likes to hang out with Little Bear (picking up some badboy habits) and also with Mittens, slinking around the garden. Every now and then he’ll take naps with his twin sister – Dottie.
We love our cats they fill our days with companionship and laughter.
