Decorating the tree was very special this year because I had mom and dad in town. A Daisy tradition is to set the Christmas tree and leave it unadorned for a few days. We enjoyed the simplicity of its evergreen and wonderful pine scent.
Colored lights, green baubles and silver spirals adorned our tree this year.
In contemplation of all the Christmas rituals… the cooking, the decorating, the baking, the singing, the shopping, it all comes down to………creating a special moment that will forever remain in our hearts; a memory that will be everlasting and can be triggered by a song, a smell or just the feeling of Christmas spirit.
