Understand What’s Important to You
Sometimes we get caught up in the race. When that happens we seek to look outside of ourselves to gauge our success and many a times find that we meet frustration head on.
A long time ago when I first entered the police academy one of the things we had to do every morning was to do a 5 mile run…back then I was a fair runner and was in the top three of my class. Knowing yourself is one common goal that will help each and everyone of us to achieve personal success. So many people are hung up on somebody else’s idea of what it means to be successful, and often their own goals become clouded.
Don’t live out your life trying to out do the Jones’ and their idea of success, establish for yourself what success means to you. Don’t ignore or belittle your dreams and messages it will only lead you to frustration and unhappiness.
Daisy Says: Acknowledge your personal strengths and values and you will find yourself taking the first step towards achieving personal success.
