Just when I want to feel sorry for myself – the direction of the economy… aging, etc…I come across inspiration.
I caught this show: Master Chef which is hosted by award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay, restaurateur Joe Bastianich and acclaimed chef Graham Elliot where nearly 30,000 contestants from all walks of life representing 23 states, all with the hopes of turning their culinary dream into a reality auditioned for a chance to compete for the coveted title of MASTERCHEF and the $250,000 grand prize.
Comes along Christine Ha, as of this posting she is now in the top 4 position in contention for the coveted title. 
She is a blind chef.
She began losing her vision in 1999 due to an autoimmune condition called neuromyelitis optica, is finishing her thesis for a master’s degree in non-fiction creative writing and dreams of starting a gastropub.
I am humbled by this wonderful human being. Away with my doldrums and onto the dawn of the unknown with an open heart and child like abandon!
