What’s Broken

It’s happened to me once or twice, I sit back and worry that I could possibly do more with this life I am given… and ponder ‘What’s Broken’?

It’s something I ponder on as I work on finding my personal path to happiness and success. This ‘sometimes’ can be difficult to figure out.

I suppose it could be much easier finding what is not working in our lives… and perhaps that is a place to start.

What are the things that are not working? Well, it’s those things we complain about the most; the ‘things’ we make excuses about and on some occasions blame others for.

I have learned there is truth in the saying: “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it”; also, it’s easier to fix something when we find the spot that’s broken. I’ve also discovered you can’t fix something if you won’t admit something is ‘broke’.

We provide ourselves with clues, it’s those things we complain the most about. Sometimes we complain about things outside what I would say out of our control – I’ve learned that sometimes the world is reflecting issues within ourselves that we need to address. Whatever be the circumstances that bring to light that there is an issue, the first step is acknowledging that there is a ‘crack in the foundation’. This can apply to oneself personally, to a relationship, in work, with a plan… etc..

As it pertains to one’s personal journey: once we find those aspects of our life that complain the most about, we can have a starting point for setting goals and objectives to improve the quality of our life.

We can itemize each area down to the ridiculous and then write down the proposed outcome, that outcome is the goal, that is what we need to pursue to fix what’s broken.

Daisy Says: Broken fences can be fixed, only if we want to fix them .
