Easter Weekend

easter

History holds many stories of great men and women that held True to their cause, whether we believe in their cause or not, it is the strength of their character that creates their legacy.

Good Friday reminds me of persevering and staying True to my heart. In the Stations of the Cross, I am reminded that there will be some dark days ahead and that despite the on seeing crowd the challenges I face are mine to ‘own’ and despite the failures -I must persevere and move onward. Sometimes I do not understand the insanity of the situation and I have to search deep within me to find a reason to keep going… and when I see that my actions connect to a positive solution to others outside of me then my pain becomes insignificant. It’s like, every now and then I get a glimpse of the bigger picture.

The results of our actions lay dormant until that one day when you look back with the eyes of Faith and see that it was not in vain. Easter weekend reminds me of the seasons and how in Winter the seeds lay dormant awaiting the rebirth in Spring.
