I started on a journey a long time ago, now many years later I stand still to look back and see how far I’ve traveled only to learn the longest journey is the shortest distance between me and my eternal self.
To all of you that are struggling with life’s challenges and detours…
It’s all going to be okay.
To some it may seem impossible and even hard to believe.
Some might think that it’s easy for me to say… but if you have heard the saying: ‘walk a mile in another mans shoe’?, then you’d know what I mean.
Some days I look back at everything that has happened in my life and am truly amazed at my own will.
Accepting that I have no control of my world has been the biggest lesson.
Whatever plans I had for myself, life has other plans for me.
I had to learn to let go.
and let go I did.
Letting go has been the hardest lesson for me.
It is also the best thing I have ever done.
And then we hear someone else’s story…
We see the magic of it all, someone else made it out alive!
Perhaps I can, too?
Yes, I can! and You can too.
Life is really simple when we let go…happiness fills the doubts and the fears.
For our true state is Happiness.
To remember our state of Happiness is our primary directive, it’s not our job to be responsible for the happiness of others.
It had never occurred to me that I had a choice in the matter until I began letting go.
Someone once said: “there will be people in your life that thrive on chaos.
Love them and wish them well, close the door on what doesn’t work in your life.
It’s okay to be happy when others aren’t.
It’s okay to want calm and peace in your life.
It doesn’t make you hard or unkind to care for yourself.”
See past the chaos and know that All will be okay.
