I like writing and doodling. Back in 2003 I began a journal of Poetry, I like to write about Love and whimsy. I also like to doodle art when I write poetry and each of my poems have an accompanying doodle art. Attached is the one that best expresses this poem to me.
On this particular day I stepped out and observed the business of life and these words channeled into me.
Another Day of Living
I look around and I see, a hundred others just like me.
They drive, they walk, they ride -all the while their mind in other places.
Expression of sadness, happiness and madness – all written on their faces.
We move, we walk, we shout!
Within this chaos Life still flows about.
Oh! The splendor of it all, another day of living!
To hear the sounds of man-made things – the plane, the cars and even train;
As we orchestrate in Harmony with the Wind, the Songbirds and the Rain.
I look around and I see, a hundred others just like me…
blending into one big Living Dream.

——————UPDATE 2022 (10 years later)
I drove down to see my beautiful niece Ariana perform at Tea and Poets – venue in South Miami. During an intermission Ariana suggested that I go to the open mic and read my poem to fill the time. I mustered no shame and read my poem out loud to an open public for the first time.
Tea and Poets – that’s the name of the venue in South Miami.
