Lovely flowering Lazy Suzanne and #Florida Palmettos line the beach dunes at Cape Canaveral. Dark cloud line the skies and the Ocean’s whisper is almost a roar as the sound of waves crash on the beach shore.

Who would have known that heavy rain and thunder was predicted for the day… and yes it did rain – but after we got home!

I spotted this dead drift wood… standing regal on the sand with a smooth velvet like bark. Imagine the story it could tell.
We took our friend Lee and his girlfriend Barbara… their smile says it all. Even George brought his good cheer and allowed the Wind, the Sun and the Surf free his spirit.

…and before I knew it, the weekend was gone and with it our friends were heading back to Texas -of-course, with smiles on their faces.
