Sometimes I wonder how one ever rises to the top when there are so many people on this planet. I looked at the world counter and a second ago we were at 7,063,569,397!!
That’s a lot of us!
How can one person rise to the top when there are so many of us? One has to be an extra ordinary human being to stand apart from the rest. At one time I actually fantasized that I would do something great with this life that I was given and now that I look back, all I have done has been short of surviving.
Everyday there is someone rising, there is someone smarter, stronger, amazing, perhaps even better connected!
I don’t know if this is a normal occurrence in the evolution of a human life, but perhaps there is a moment when a human feels like there is no reason to rise.
The question that comes to mind is? What separates the cream?
Is it ambition? Desire? Excellence? Discipline?
I was told by a religious leader that each one of us is born with a gift or gifts, and it is through the cultivation and use of these gifts that we can live a full life.
and then… when I think of how many people are on the planet…Cream anyone?
