I’ll dance with you my friend
I’ll dance with you atop this branch,
endear me and share your smile
come dance with me awhile.
Pretend -pretend of dreamers land
to dance the air as we command;
there is magic in this dance you see
for all is not as it appears to be.
This magic for dragonflies and dreamers.
We dance upon the magic dust
the promises fallen stars entrust,
gaze through my silver wings
discover what destiny brings.
I’ll take you to a space so free
this dance you dance with me;
we’ll run through meadows and orange groves
along a hundred dragonfly roves.
And when our dance is done my friend
we’ll near our journey’s end;
we’ll rest atop a single twig
while eternity records our joyful jig,
and in this rest we both agree
our souls as one we set free.
