Sometimes I wonder about the circle of people that have come in and out of my life… some people I truly liked… but now they are no where to be found. I simply wonder the why of these relationships.
Bothered by this I pondered on this… and narrowed it down to a few possibilities:
What were the circumstances that brought on the relationships?
The common thread: these friends of opportunity.
I attracted them through a business venture.
What was hard to accept was that friendships that were forged through business disappeared once the business was gone.
I seek solace in evaluating the lesson in the relationship, for now I see that without them I would have missed the class.
I suppose that if you do broadcast an opportunity of business ventures, be ready for short term relationships because it’s not you they are after… it’s what they can get from you.
