Sometimes LIFE can be challenging. Yes, even here in the wonderful U.S. of A.
Sometimes the resources for growth can seem out of reach.
Sometimes we just don’t know where to turn to for advice or wisdom.
When this happens, I turn to books…. books of wisdom as it relates to my challenge. What I like about books, you can read it over and over, most important…you can take what you like and apply it as you see fit (it doesn’t get offended if you close it and put it back on the shelf).
What I have come to learn is that if you truly want to improve in a certain area of your life – you will seek out ways to do that. Whether it be direct or indirect mentorship. When that moment sets in that we really want more from ourselves and life… we begin to question our own being and our limitations. And only when we come into agreement with ourselves that there is still room for growing will the teacher appear, until then – the rebel student will be blinded by his or her own arrogance.
“A mentor is an individual who has made a personal commitment to advance a chosen field by facilitating other individuals’ careers through guidance, wisdom, and expertise”
Daisy Says: Sweet song of life… in your daily review you will find your mentor.
