Mom visits me during Winter… during her visit I get to enjoy her for her birthday, we shop for some new Christmas ornaments, she helps with selecting the Christmas tree and then decorating it… and she’ll even cook one or two of my favorite dishes.
For thirty days life considerably slows down for her… and she adjusts to the super mellow mood of our household. Compared to being South at Edwin’ house with his wife and two daughters… our house is really quiet – especially since Geordan moved out. Sometimes I think it’s too quiet and too slow for her.
I want to enjoy every moment I can with her and thank God for that blessing.
