Have you ever wondered if you are on the right path? The path that your spirit needs to move through this plane of existence?
Occasionally as I go through life I like to get a report card about my journey and I want to know if I’m on my spiritual path. I pray on this deeply and ask God to show me a sign and, I usually get a sign.
Now, you wonder how does this work. Faith. That is all I can say. The silent communication is something we all have with God, and to be vigilant for the answer is key. From personal experience all I can say is that when you do get the answer… you Know and feel it to be a direct answer to your question. The best way to describe it is… that it can be a word, a song, a face, a moment, an item – that will trigger the question once more and as you connect with that word, song, face, moment, or item there is a sense of eternal peace and calm. Your question has been answered.
My recent answer was a blue jay feather.
When a blue jay comes across your path it is time to reconnect with your spirit self.
The word “jay” comes from the Latin word “Gaea” which is Mother Earth.” A Blue Jay totem links you directly with the power of the Earth itself and reminds you to develop your gifts. It can link the heavens and the Earth and give you access to universal energies and power.” (Lins Domain)
Blue jays are talkative creatures utilizing a wide range of vocalizations to express their opinions. Indeed, their speech abilities are so advanced, that they are able to mimic other birds and even humans.
Determination, assertiveness, and intelligence is also a shared trait among those who claim the blue jay as their friend. We see these characteristics in the blue jay because it is fiercely bold against its enemies.
The jay is fearless when it comes to protecting its partner, young and territory. So too are those with this animal as their friend. They will defend their positions against adversaries who seem much more powerful than themselves – often with successful results.
Blue jay animal symbolism resonates truth, faithfulness, and solidarity because they are vigilant in their tasks. They also keep the same mate for life, which is symbolic of endurance, patience and loyalty.
“In the spiritual realm, the blue jay speaks of clarity and vision; purity of the soul, truth of the heart, and clarity of thought.” (Avia Venfica)
I’ve been praying to “know Peace”, not just for peace and not just to live Peace, but to know Peace. Every day I take the time to understand this and I am closer to knowing Peace. I am still working on this because my next step it to become … Peace.
