What ever Love may mean to you..don’t be selfish. Even at the last push of an exhausted day…give of yourself for all that you are…that is Love.
The impact of that act alone will double like a tsunami in the lives of others. Love for the sake of loving and you will touch someone’s heart in ways you can never put words to.
I took my second trip to Puerto Rico this weekend to work with some new trainees for a national mortgage company with an objective of venturing into growing a mortgage team there. As a recruiter and trainer, I listened to the frustrations and the self-induced stress and the internal conflict between the different teams. I prayed for peace and Love as I listened to everyone share their concerns. … what amazed me most…was my internal acknowledgment that what all each and every one of us want is… to be acknowledged and heard. Most times… people fail to stop and listen.
Listening is a great skill to master – I would say for Life Networking. In fact, isn’t that what life ends up being ?? a big network of all the people – family, friends, co-workers, business partners, clients, etc? – What do you think?
I knew I had a successful trip as I had finished checking in on my return flight back to Orlando when right before I got on the plane I received a phone call -when I answered there was a cacophony of good cheer from the team I left behind as they shouted into the phone “GO, TEAM!”… wow! that touched my heart. No words can describe that.
Where ever the future may take me… I knew I left a good vibe and it was reinforced when the report came in this morning that people were left inspired. Work can bring strangers together… perhaps we may meet again.
