Well, according to Erikson’s Stages of Psychosocial Development it’s all about Intimacy vs. Isolation
Important Events: Relationships. I would tend to agree… even though I was in a relationship, I learned that I yearned for a deeper connection.
Looking back now….relationship with oneself is VERY important. It is important for the individual to Love themselves. All aspects of themselves as this will open up the ability to love others more profoundly, forgive others more deeply and connect with others more intimately.
How ever long or short the life… it will take that lifetime to learn to Love. To love oneself, to Love life, to Love others and to love Love itself.
