Well, heading into May and I feel like lots has happened and yet nothing has happened. Have you ever felt that way?
I love all the seasons, each one marks a ‘movement’ in time. Each one gives us an opportunity to reflect on the things in the rear view mirror and contemplate of the magic that awaits us in the “new” season.
One of the things I love of not living in an HOA “restricted” community is FREEDOM. Freedom to landscape our home to our liking. George and I love the magic of different types of grass and ‘weeds’ that pop up during the different ‘seasons’. I love that his deep love of Nature and trees. During Spring through Summer we have this lovely Sunshine Mimosa (also known as Powderpuff) pop-up through the lawn.
And since it’s also the month where we celebrate Arbor Day, I’m sharing this picture of our lovely Magnolia that is now 3 years old… it’s doing fine and the flowers are gorgeous.
George and I also attended the City of Lake Helen Arbor Day Ceremony which was held at what I like to call the ‘serenity park’ – better known as Lake Helen Cassadaga Cemetery where they added two Crepe Myrtles to line the driveway.
Drum Roll please… the moment you were waiting for. Kitty updates!!!
Right now, seems like I’ve crossed over to another plateu and I am grateful for these precious moments that seem to be so rich in quality. Be blessed Dear One.
