To look at the current events that is happening in the world… one would think we are living in the end of times.
Just recently
-Hurricane Maria puts all of the island of Puerto Rico in the dark… the aftermath is just beginning for them.
-Mexico had a 7.1 earthquake; over 200 people were sent to their graves as buildings crumbled on top of them.
-Texas was hit with hurricane Harvey at category 4, as of this post with a death count of 84, but it’s the lingering aftermath of destruction and disruption leaving people to pick up the shattered pieces of their lives. As the water levels slowly begin to drop issues of mold, pollution and health risks begin to rise.
-Here in my state of Florida, we were hit with hurricane Irma – leaving us without power for a week and many people are dealing with rising waters still.
-Around the other side of the globe, more than 1,200 people have died across India, Bangladesh and Nepal as a result of flooding, with 40 million affected by the devastation.
-… and as if natural disasters were not enough, Kim Jong-un -supreme leader of North Korea, has threatened to strike the U.S. territory of Guam with missiles and conducted its 15th missile test of the year last week.
-In the United States after 8 months of our newly elected President Donald J. Trump we are still experiencing politically fused protests through-out the country.
-Historical statues are being vandalized with attempts to eradicate them from history as if… such history never happened, shameful history that allows us to see how far we’ve come.
-Celebrities and Sports Idols refuse to stand at national events for the Pledge of our country. There are other ways to express your viewpoint. Invoking our pledge is a reminder that the United States of America is watched over by God, stands united as a continent, allows for liberty and we employ laws to help us govern. These individuals fail to see that when they stand and make a pledge to the United States, they are honoring the fact that they are in a country that allows them to disagree – after you’ve made your pledge you are free to go and disagree and protest all you want. THAT is what we pledge:
“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” IMHO: Those individuals need go make a pledge to another country.
In my quiet contemplation I observe all of this and the following thought came to mind…
There is a war against our Creative Force/ God / Source (use the label you are more comfortable with). I feel many people have strayed away from God, from Love and from loving thy neighbor. If we can take a minute and explore a world where angels help man… where is the Faith? Why have people turned from a world of spiritual to a world of material?
I believe that each one of us has angels – angels who we can command to help us do great works of Love on this planet. I feel much of what people do is infused with the dollar mindset attached to it, rather than Love and Compassion.
I believe that we as humans came here to do God’s work. We may not know immediately what that work may be, but each one of us is given unique gifts that when tapped and used in alignment with God’s work will allow us to experience an amazing and fulfilling life.
Humans can command and ask for assistance from angels, for Earth it’s different. I believe that the planet itself is protected by angels, that it is hard wired within the planet… up to the single blade of grass and grain of sand. I believe that when Earths’ Love meter goes down -the love that can only be infused by mans actions – ‘she’ becomes sick. Just like when humans catch the flu and need to expectorate and remove the virus from the body; so does Earth, and it does it through natural disasters.
We – you me, the planet are collectively one organism, when we are out of balance – our actions are out of balance.
So, how do we find our way back? I believe we need to stop blaming and pointing fingers. We need to stop expecting ‘governments’ to take care of us… we need to start here.. individually – Love ourselves, love our families, love our neighbors, love our communities. We begin by thinking “Us” vs “Me”. We step up and volunteer and help where we can, how we can. I believe we need to slow down, pray, meditate, visualize Love and Peace.
We can ask God (Source etc) to awaken our gifts and to allow God to deploy us to use our gifts in the highest best way where we can serve others and ourselves. That’s what I believe.
